Greenshank at lunchtime

I digiscoped a couple of Greenshanks at the Prestt hide, Ferry Meadows CP, this lunchtime. However, I didn't have my usual scope, just my old Kowa TS-611, a non-ED smaller scope, which I bung in my rucksack for cycling birding to and from work. I had no tripod and the camera and scope are not really compatible for digiscoping (with loads of vignetting). However I did muster some identifiable shots... Nothing mind-blowing, but it just goes to show that it can be done

That's how I take all my photos, holding up the camera to the scope! It means 90% of the photos are dodgy but it's acceptable simply for my own use and one of the only advantages is the lack of extra weight.
